Earth Hour 2008

Begun in 2007 as a Sydney Australia event, word has rapidly spread around the globe so that Earth Hour becomes a truly global event in 2008. The basic idea? Turn off all of your lights for an hour, to demonstrate how powerfully individual actions when taken together on a large scale truly do have an immense impact.
In visiting their website you are given the opportunity to sign up as a show of support for the project, as an individual, a business, or even a city. This is a most worthwhile event, so please spread the word and encourage Earth Hour Every Day!
